LONG TABLE FEAST MENUS

Locale kitchens long table feast menus are served down the middle of a long table for guests to serve themselves and pass the dishes around, just like a big family dinner, long table menus are a fun relaxed style of service that encourages group interaction and allows guests to select the meal they want to eat, this style of food service is great for serving a large number of guests a variety of options in a short time frame.

T​he country farmhouse

$35 per person

  • Slow cooked lamb shoulder with minted pea puree

  • Lemon and thyme roasted whole chickens with chicken gravy

  • Beer battered local fish fillets with garlic and chive aioli

  • Rosemary roasted potatoes

  • Honey roasted carrots

  • Quinoa, black bean and feta salad

  • Tomato, bocconcini and fresh basil salad with balsamic dressing

  • Fresh bread rolls with cultured butter

The southern

$35 per person

  • Low and slow smoked beef brisket

  • Southern fried chicken

  • Lamb meat balls in harissa tomato with mint yogurt

  • Spiced potatoes topped with crème fraiche

  • Grilled Mexican street corn

  • Artichoke gratin

  • Sweet potato, almond, feta and baby spinach salad

  • Corn bread and white bread

  • House made pickles, BBQ sauce and hot sauce

The international

$40 per person

  • Braised beef shin in red wine gravy

  • Pan-fried gnocchi with mushrooms, walnuts, swiss chard and truffle oil

  • Peri peri chicken grilled over charcoal

  • Crispy fried cuttlefish with a lemon and caper salsa verde

  • Grilled asparagus with grana Padano

  • Toasted freekeh, mandarin and goats curd salad

  • Roasted cauliflower, crispy spiced chickpeas and minted labneh salad

  • Grilled polenta

  • Roasted baby beets

  • Crusty bread and cultured butter

 

Stand up menus

The menus are all served in high quality biodegradable disposable serving ware and is walked around the party by our wait staff, no waiting at the truck for service.
The popularity of this style of service for weddings is increasing as it makes for a great party atmosphere where guests can move around and interact with each other and not have to be in there assigned seat to eat.

  • Beef Brisket slider - smoked Beef brisket slider with tangy BBQ, fresh slaw, and pickles

  • Pulled Pork Taco - smoked pork shoulder, fresh cabbage, Tomatillo Salsa and pickled Onions

  • Mushroom Arancini - field Mushroom arancini with chipotle aioli

  • Black Bean Tostadas - fried Corn Tortilla, slow braised black beans, Feta and grilled corn Salsa with lime

  • Roast Cauliflower and chickpea salad - roasted cauliflower, crispy chickpeas, mango vinaigrette, and mint labneh

  • Pulled pork and beetroot relish slider

  • Grilled Chicken taco with grilled chicken, tomato salsa, corn salsa and coriander

  • Fried pumpkin and sage macaroni and cheese

  • Chorizo poutine - hand cut chips, rich beef gravy, cheese curds, chorizo corn and crème fraiche

  • Quinoa salad with crumbled feta, black bean parsley and baby spinach with vinaigrette

  • Philly cheese steak rolls – sliced pork steak, pickled capsicum, grilled onions and provolone cheese

  • Sweet potato nachos – roasted sweet potato dip, cheese, corn chips and fresh tomato salsa with sour cream

  • Roasted Vegetable Poutine  - Roasted pumpkin, Mushrooms and peas on top of hand cut chips, cheese curds and a rich vegetarian gravy
